About Me

Hello! I'm Antonio from San Francisco. In 2021, I was studying Computer Science at City College of San Francisco before switching my major to Liberal Arts and Humanities with the aim of transferring to one of the top animation programs. Although I graduated, I realized that animation wasn't the right path for me. During the summer, unsure of my next steps, my sister suggested I apply to Dev Mission. I got accepted, and the program turned out to be a life-changing experience. It provided me with valuable resources and reignited my passion for Computer Science, a field I had previously found challenging and daunting. This experience motivated me to overcome my fears and embrace the coding process. My long-term goal is to work in the tech industry, ideally in a role that combines back-end programming and front-end design. In my spare time, I enjoy creating art with compressed, willow, and vine charcoal, and I challenge myself daily with Wordle to expand my vocabulary. Family is incredibly important to me. They've always been a significant source of inspiration, encouraging me to focus on my education and seize opportunities that weren't available to them. A project I want to undertake after completing my current program is creating a website for my family's business, where we sell crepes to our family and friends on the Facebook marketplace.
